Our Commitment
Photoshop Detector is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What We've Done
- All colour combinations meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements (4.5:1 minimum for text).
- All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable with visible focus indicators.
- The image comparison slider supports keyboard control via arrow keys (Shift+Arrow for larger steps).
- Screen reader users receive live announcements when analysis results are ready.
- Images include descriptive alternative text.
- Forms have explicit labels and inline error messages.
- A skip navigation link is provided to bypass repetitive header content.
- The site respects the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — animations are disabled when requested. - Landmark roles identify page regions (banner, main, navigation, contentinfo) for assistive technology.
- The FAQ accordion uses native
<details>/<summary>elements — fully keyboard and screen reader accessible with no JavaScript required. - High contrast / forced colours mode is supported.
Known Limitations
- ELA heatmap images are analytical outputs. They convey information visually that cannot be fully described in plain text. We provide a verdict label alongside every heatmap so users who cannot interpret the visual still receive a clear result.
Technical Specifications

- NVDA + Firefox (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS, iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
- axe DevTools browser extension (automated)
- Lighthouse Accessibility audit
